Not a bad episode. Proper build up to a finale. Something obviously thwarts their trip to Virginia. At least for one more season.

I loved John's smile when he was holding June's hand. I laughed at Jimbo's Beerbos.

I really need to make a new thread for my post but no point in doing so.

My take on the episode was one of ambivalence.

I neither loved it nor hated it. As far as liking or disliking, ehhh I was more on the SHMEH spectrum

The best thing that could come from the season finale is that they fire the current showrunners and try for the ol "third time is the charm" trope. That worked for Gimple for a few seasons until everyone started ragging on him.

It was OK. Glad to see the group back together except for Al (so far). It was a meh episode for me. Definitely needs a kick in the pants for next season.

I liked it overall, couple of parts I didn't care for but if I'm not struggling to stay awake that tells me it was good enough.

Not too bad, for once. A bit too much standing around chatting (on the roof, on top of the fire engine when walkers are approaching). But generally more action and less navel gazing than the last 4 or 5 episodes.

From the get go, this reminds me a lot of Ricks first adventure in Atlanta with Glenn and Merle and the others. On a roof, surrounded by the dead, Walkies, someone "dying"/tied up and such, with complainers blaming Rick for shit!

EDIT: And Charlie with the hat...oh boy! Is John and Charlie gonna be some kind of replacement for Rick and Carl in season 10 or something?

Agreed. It was the best episode of this half. The only reason being they regrouped and worked together to accomplish something. Unfortunately it was all in a vacuum and didn't really move the plot forward.

Speaking of which, we have one episode left in this season and I still don't know what the overall story is. But yes. This was the most enjoyable episode so far this half season. If for no other reason than the phrase "philosophic fart"

I liked it a lot! I just wish they shot the old crazy lady. She is one of the most pure evil characters The Walking Dead ever seen. Terminus killed for food and their own warped insane way of protecting themself, Negan is a Warlord...structure and order, The Governor did have good ideas but was crazy paranoid. This one? She is just plain evil. She just kills all.

The hat on Charlie, the roof! The meeting up at the hospital as a team a bit like how they all met up at the Police ran hospital :) It all been like a short venture for Morgan to gather his own little team. I hope they survive, I been 100% almost sure that Fear will fuse with main show after this season.

Oh, I hope not. Up to this season, I've enjoyed the fact that they are different. I liked the fact that it was basically a family unit + Strand from the beginning. Although now they've killed off the family, I still prefer the different tone of the two shows, although I can't quite explain what it is.

Between them, I don't have to wait too long for the next series :)

Hey Sebrebc I replied to your post but then I realized this was the positivity thread and my post was not really positive in nature so I deleted it.

Yeah! When FTWD is over, TWD starta and when TWD ends its not long until FTWD!

But I find it hard for them to keep it going now, unless they find a community to stick to.
