Much like the never ending ammo and never ending gasoline in the cars, Al's video camera has a never ending battery.

Solar powered Tesla battery courtesy of Elon Musk. Who, incidentally, foresaw the zombie apocalypse and is currently out there fighting hoards of them with his flamethrowers.

Agreed, batteries charge as long as car has gas. Gas and ammo on the other hand... I have to assume that in zombieland, the resources that once supplied 7.6 billion people on planet earth, will support the much fewer survivors, until "it" runs out.

Not quite. If you search this forum, you'll find posts claiming that the life span of gasoline not kept in a sealed container is 6 months or so, iirc. This is quite a volatile liquid after all. And don't forget the supply at an average gas station lasts about two days in normal use. Now imagine how things are when everyone wants to fill up before escaping the outbreak, and supply is irregular because of the same outbreak, and you'll end up with most gas stations empty, just like most shops are empty.

Regarding ammo, well, this is the US, a country where the constitution lets people maintain a small armament depot at their basement, so ammo will be quite easy to find.
